Historic artifacts are in need of a little help. This plaque which now hangs on a wall in what used to be the mayor’s office is a tribute to the 1892 Women’s Relief Corps. The building houses several memorials to Lawrence County soldiers and official water marks from floods, showing parts of the city’s history.
