Ironton police

Complaint— Susan Court Friday, young child reportedly crossing streets with no adult supervision, matter referred to Children’s Services.

Child in traffic — State Route 93/ U.S. 52 interchange Friday, little boy with backpack walking along aside of road, located, advised he was running away from home, family notified.

Trouble — Sparetime, South Third Street Friday, groups of youths on parking lot, refusing to leave and being rowdy, located, parents notified and advised to come and get their kids.

Trouble — 300 block Spruce Street Saturday, man reportedly creating disturbance, advised to calm down or go to jail.

Theft— 2700 block South Seventh Street Saturday, residence entered, items taken.

Trouble — Reported at police station Saturday, no specific location given for incident, child reportedly pulled knife on another child while at a city park.

Assault — Reported by Greenup County 911 Center Saturday, woman reportedly assaulted at Shenanigan’s South Third Street, taken to area hospital.

Breaking and entering — 700 block Railroad Street Sunday, old taxi office entered.

Trouble — 600 block North Fifth Street Sunday, person reportedly trying to start fight, those involved separated and moved on.

Domestic — Fayette Township Thursday, man and woman reportedly spitting in each other’s faces, man reportedly hit in face, woman reportedly threatened, Stephen Ball, 42, and Peggy Lowery, 39, both of 9224 County Road 1, South Point, arrested and taken to jail.

Domestic — Traveler’s Motel, Chesapeake Thursday, woman reportedly hit 30-40 times in face, kicked in torso several times, suspect named.

Domestic — County Road 45, Ironton Friday, man, woman, reportedly threatened over child custody, Loretta Burke, 28, Grandview Inn, arrested and taken to jail.
