It might be odd to think about the Crop Walk – an event held during warmer weather – just before Christmastime but the funds raised by the charity walkers earlier this year are starting to feed the county’s hungry.

Food pantries around town are more fully stocked now with nourishment.

Those who gave their time, and energy, to walk this June deserve a pat of the back.

And, the donations serve as a reminder that the next Crop Walk is just around the corner – June 2.

Attend the Jan. 26 planning meeting, and let’s make this another Crop Walk to remember.
