Cold weather wasn’t enough to stop John Mark McCarty, 3, right, of Ironton from practicing his swing with his dad Tuesday. John’s dad, Duane, just returned home from a two and a half month business trip to Spain, and John wanted to play with him no matter how cold it got. It’s expected to get colder too, with a chance of snow flurries Thursday morning. High temperatures will hover in the 30s and 40s through the weekend, the National Weather Service predicts.
