Symmes Valley High School Marching Band member Derek Wilson holds his trumpet high as he and his fellow band members help welcome in the Christmas season at the Ashland Christmas Parade Tuesday night. The Symmes Valley band was making an historic appearance – the school has not participated in the parade for many years.
