Petty theft — 3900 block State Route 234, Ironton, Jan. 4, couple alleged grandson stole tools, money and gift cards from their residence.

Theft — 10 block Township Road 1161, Proctorville, Jan. 6, man reported his Jeep stolen, vehicle found burnt the next day of County Road 35.

Domestic violence — 1000 block County Road 1, South Point, Jan. 7, woman alleged ex-boyfriend hit her in the face and rib area, negative contact.

Burglary — 200 block Township Road 1030, South Point, Jan. 7, Xbox and compound bow taken from residence.

Burglary — 200 block Township Road 143, Ironton, Jan. 13, tools taken from residence.

Theft — Now Service Pro, 11000 block County Road 1, Chesapeake, Jan. 13, tools taken from business in October, some recently found in Kenova, W.Va., pawn shop.

Theft — Tractor Supply, South Point, Jan. 14, two snow throwers stolen from business.

Theft — 50 block Township Road 1168, Proctorville, Jan. 14, woman alleged an unknown man took two checks from her mailbox.

Petty theft — 80 bock Township Road 1168, Proctorville, Jan. 14, woman alleged unknown man took mail from her mailbox.

Petty theft — 300 block N. Huntington Heights Lane, Chesapeake, Jan. 14, tires and rims stolen off of Chevy S-10 pickup truck.

Possession of drugs, drug paraphernalia — Collins Career Center, Chesapeake, Jan. 16, student allegedly had a bag of marijuana and a pipe, juvenile taken to Lawrence County Detention Center.
