SOUTH POINT — The South Point Little League is turning to basketball to benefit baseball.

The SPLL will host the Harlem Wizards at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 18, at South Point High School with proceeds to benefit the league.

The Wizards combine comedy, athleticism, tricks, fancy teamwork and ball-handling wizardry plus wild dunks not even seen in NBA games to entertain fans.

Now in their 50th season, the Wizards will play the Pointer Pound celebrity team that will include famed country comedic singer Cletus T. Judd, and radio personalities Jim Davis of WKEE and Woody of B97.1.

Tickets in advance are $10 for adults and $8 for children and at the door $12 for adults and $10 for children.

Tickets are available at South Point Foodfair or on the Harlem Wizards website.
