St. Joe will have a chance to finish the regular season unbeaten when it hosts Greenup County, Ky., at 3 p.m. Saturday on Senior Appreciation Day.

"It was good competition. (East Carter) had about seven seniors and they have a good program. Overall, our kids did a very good job both offensively and defensively. We need to do that again Saturday," Flyers coach John Schwab said.

The shutout was the ninth of the season for St. Joe and goalie John "Bub" Waginger recorded 17 saves as East Carter took 23 shots on goal.

Eric Waginger scored two goals and assisted on the third to lead the Flyers. He scored on a header with an assist from Andy Stack at the 17:40 mark of the first half. Waginger aided Joe Laber who scored with 35:50 on the clock.
