Nancy Robinson

Jan. 24, 1944-March 22, 2013

Nancy Kay Robinson, 69 of Ironton, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky. The Ironton native was born Jan. 24, 1944, the son of the late William Christian and Anna Mae Weber of Ironton. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Robinson.

Mrs. Robinson was a graduate of Rock Hill High School and was a cook for Ironton City Schools for 13 years. Nancy was a member of St. Lawrence O’Toole Catholic Church and she loved St. Joseph High School due to the fact her grandson attended school there. She was a strong Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Reds fan.  She loved watching her son Scott play baseball at Ashland University. She will be missed by her dog, Donovan. Caregiving was Nancy’s hobby.

In addition to her father and husband, she is preceded in death by stepfather, William Weber; and a infant son,  Ronald William Robinson.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Keri Robinson of Lancaster; a daughter, Christi Brown of Ironton; a grandson, Ronnie Brown of Ironton; a granddaughter, Alexis Washburn of Columbus; a aunt, Helen Aldridge of Ironton; three brothers-in-law and their spouses, John and Sue Robinson of Hanging Rock, Bill and Pat Robinson, of Hanging Rock,and Ray and Debbie Robinson of Macon, Ga.; and numerous cousins.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home with Father David Huffman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made towards a college fund for Ronnie Brown, 109 N Columbus St. Apt B. Suzanna Coy

Suzanna Sue Coy, 54, of South Point, died Friday, March 22, 2013, at Sunset Nursing Center, Coal Grove. Arrangements are pending at Hall Funeral Home.

 

Charles Smith

Charles Ray Smith, 75, of Flatwoods, Ky., died Friday, March 22, 2013, at his home. There will be no services. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home.
