Sherry Hollin

Sherry L. (Eldridge) Hollin, 52, of Otway, went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 12, 2013, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center after a sudden illness.

She was born March 6, 1961, a daughter of the late Howard Wayne Eldridge Sr. and Ruth Rice Eldridge of Portsmouth. She attended Minford Schools Class of 1979, was a nurses aid, was of the Baptist faith attending the Shale Hollow Baptist Church, and loved her pugs.

In addition to her mom she is survived by her husband at home, James Hollin, whom she married on Dec. 31, 2002; three sons, Scott Joe Brown (Eva) of Goshen, Ind., Michael T. Brown (Cindy) of South Shore, Ky., Quentin Hollin at home; three brothers, Howard Wayne Eldridge Jr. (Phyllis) of Sciotoville, Samuel E. Eldridge (Rhonda), Ricky Joe Eldridrige both of Portsmouth; six sisters, Donna K. Russell (Dee), Brenda Goodman (Tim) Judy Robinette (Tom), Joyce Stacy (Charles), Courtney Eldridge all of Portsmouth, Tammy Jiles (Kenny) of Pedro; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the Brown Funeral Chapel with Pastor Kenny Jiles officiating. Burial will be private.

Andra Sue Cremeens Brown, 65, of Huntington, W.Va., died Saturday, April 13, 2013, at her residence. Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point, with Pastor Jeff Black officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Charles Edward Huffman, 75, of Raceland, Ky., died Friday, April 12, 2013, at his home. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Large-Huffman of Raceland. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today at Carman Funeral Home with pastors Delmar Ray and Paul Neal officiating. Burial will follow at Huffman Cemetery in Argillite, Ky.
