Renovations to the cafeteria and kitchen at Dawson-Bryant Elementary School in Deering have given students a few more days of vacation in the Dawson-Bryant School District. Although most of the county started school last Friday or this week, Dawson-Bryant students will not begin until Aug. 30. But the extra days will catch up to them, however. The students will stay in school until June and give up a couple of vacation days during the year.
