Pat Lambert performed hostess duties along with conducting a brief business meeting.

Pat Riggs, the tournament director, announced and arranged match play for the morning that would be for the Annual Classic Tournament.

Lambert chose events for prizes and sent the ladies out to compete.

At the end of the morning, the women returned for an enjoyable lunch and listened to the announcement of the weekly winners: Sharon Fox, Joyce Lewis, Jane Mains, Rose Auble and Lambert.

Riggs also announced the results of the recently complete Handicap Tournament. Nancy Livingston was the winner with a three-way tie for second place between Cecilia Woods, Auble and Riggs.

The Classic Tournament Championship Flight winner was Jane Mains while the first flight winner was Lambert, second flight Lewis, third flight Joyce Fields and fourth flight Fox.

The association’s photographer Betty Fraley took pictures and continued her excellent work of keeping the association’s scrapbook updated.

It was a fond farewell for Mains. The group said good-bye until next year since she was headed back to her job as a school teacher.

In a note of omission, Wanda Spears was inadvertently missing from last week’s list of event winners.

Spears will serve as next week’s hostess. The club will have its regular meeting at 9 a.m. followed by golfing. New members are still welcomed to join the group.
