Robert C. (Chris) Payne, 47, of Ironton died on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2010, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Ky.
Mr. Payne was born Aug. 10, 1963, the son of the late Robert and Mary R. Isaac Payne Chris was a member of Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Ironton and a graduate of St. Joseph High School.
He worked at the Outback Steak House as a cook, and was an avid sports fan .
Survivors include one sister and brother in-law, Mary and William Robinson of Pompano Beach, Fla.; and one niece, Kayla Robinson, also of Pompano Beach.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Huffman officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. O’Keefe-Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
