IRONTON — Willard Kiser, 89, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010, at a local health care center. The Huntington, W. Va. native was born Oct. 20,1920, the son of the late Hiram Willard Kiser, Sr. and Sarah F. Patton Kiser. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Jewell Clonch Kiser.
Mr. Kiser was a 1938 graduate of Huntington High School and was a former machine shop foreman for Barney Williams Co. in Ashland, Ky., retiring in 1988, after 40 years of service. He was a member of the Church of Christ in South Point and a charter member of the American Watchmakers Institute.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Rebecca Martin of Coal Grove and Pamela and Abdul Ismail of Fort Worth, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Dollie Kiser of Sylacauga, Ala.; nine grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.
