Mary Alice Donohue, 57, of Ironton, passed away Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, at a local health care center. The Lawrence County native was born Feb. 10, 1953, the daughter of the late Paul and Wanda Lee Bowman Donohue.
Ms. Donohue was a 1971 graduate of Rock Hill High School and attended Bliss Business College in Columbus for two years. She was a former manager for the Greenbriar East Apartment Complex in Columbus and a member of Woodland Chapel Church. She lived most of her life in Lawrence County.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Donohue; a companion, Walter “Walt” Cupp; a brother-in-law, Bob Bellomy; and a nephew, Kippy Bellomy.
She is survived by brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Lori Donohue of Ironton; four sisters and three brothers-in-law, Paula Bellomy, Dale and Richard Schwab and Sharon and Mike Smith, all of Ironton, and Donna and Bill Osgood of Washougal, Wash.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11a.m. Thursday at Phillips Funeral Home, with Brother Dave Schug officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Ben Osgood, David Smith, Paul Smith, Matthew Latham, Rob Bellomy, Richard Donohue, Chris Donohue, Richard Schwab, Jonathan Schwab, Andrew Schwab and Allison Schwab.
