Clara Kathleen Arbaugh, 96 of Ironton, died Thursday, July 22, 2010, at a local health care facility. The Lawrence County native was born Sept. 25, 1913, the daughter of the late Perry and Mary Thacker Lambert.
Clara attended Aid Schools and was a self-employed housekeeper. She was a member of the Symmes Valley Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her eight brothers and sisters; and a great-grandchild.
Clara is survived by her two daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Pastor Gene Brammer of Ironton and Pastor Kathy and Sam Patmon of Columbus; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great great-grandchild.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Aid Cemetery with Pastor Gene Brammer officiating. There will be no visitation. Donations may be made in Clara’s name to the church or charity of your choice. To offer condolences to the family please visit www.phillipsfuneralhome.net.
