Grand jury returns indictments

A Lawrence County Grand Jury this week returned indictments for drug crimes, breaking and entering and assault.

The following is information from the office of Prosecuting Attorney Brigham Anderson:

• James A. Baker, 47, of 61 Private Drive 125, Chesapeake, assault on a peace office and intimidation;

• Tina McCloud, 46, of 5325 County Road 15, South Point, trafficking in drugs (oxycodone);

• Charles Parks, 25, of 1096 Reinhard Ave., Columbus, tampering with evidence, possession of crack cocaine and trafficking in crack cocaine;

• Esmond Roach, 60, of 717 Second Ave,. Chesapeake, aggravated trafficking in drugs (oxycodone);

• Frank Lewis, 31, of 2212 N. Fifth St., Ironton, breaking and entering;

• Kenneth Corbin, 28, of 302 Washington St., Coal Grove, two counts of felonious assault;

• Richard Counts, 51, of Country Hearth Motel Room 410, South Point, trafficking in drugs (meth), possession of criminal tools, possession of drug abuse instruments;

• Terry Jones, 44, of 1421 Beechwood Drive, Gastonia, N.C., complicity to theft, attempted theft and criminal trespass;

• Tiffany Strange, 28, of 902 Gary Malone St. Lot 13, South Point, theft, contributing to unruliness or delinquency of a child, criminal trespass;

• Shannon Longfellow, 41, of 119 Fairmont St., Clover, S.C., complicity to theft, attempted theft, criminal trespass;

• James B. Staley, 35, of 209 Wilgus St., Proctorville, possession of drugs (oxycodone).
