SOUTH POINT — Avanelle Massie, 85, of South Point, died Sunday, May 30, 2010, at Kings Daughters Medical Center in, Ashland, Ky.
She was born March 14, 1925, the daughter of the late Robert and Nan Howard Dickess.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Dillon, one daughter, Beverly Jean Koster and three sisters: Eloise Ward, Marie Hammond and Evelyn Huddle.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Massie and one niece, Nancy McKee.
Funeral services will be noon Friday at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon. on Friday at the funeral home.
