Fall art show a success thanks to supporters

The Ironton Artists Association wishes to thank The Ironton Tribune and all the wonderful supporters of the 39th Annual Fall Art Show.

Purchase Awards were provided by Bartram & Son, WesBanco Bank, Citizens Deposit Bank, Phillips Funeral Home, The Ironton Tribune, Craig Allen Attorney at Law, C. A. Rambacher CPA and Bob Clyse Chevrolet, Buick, GMC. Donations were made by Lawrence Co. Chamber of Commerce, Mayne Framing Supply and Sunset Memorial Gardens.

IAA also wishes to thank Central Christian Church, the Christian Ladies Service, the American Association of University Women, Leona Mackey for judging, and to Helen Sellers and Kim Johnson for all the hours of work they put in to make the show such a success.

This year’s winners are Rabert Fulks for Best of Show Fine Art and Linda Clifford for Best of Show photography.

The category winners are Oil— first place, Rabert Fulks; second, Heather Kincaid; third, Gail Kirtz; and six honorable mention ribbons.

Watercolor — first, Lottie Fraley; second, Joyce Steele; third, Pati Payne; and 6 HM.

Drawing Media — first, Donna Buckley; second, Pati Payne; third, Josie Cutler and 5 HM.

Mixed Media, Collage and Encaustic — first, Diane Smallwood; second, Rodney Chapman; third, Pat Shope; and 2 HM.

Photography — first, Linda Clifford; second and third, Pam DeCamp; and 6 HM.

Children K-6th grade — first, Nathan Lilly; second, Samatha Richbart; third, Christian Kincaid; and 7 HM.

Children 7th – 12th grade — first, Emily Anderson; second, Joey Cutler; third, Drew Lilly; and 2 HM.

Special category “Miniatures” — first, James Shope; second, Donna Buckley; third, Pati Payne; and 6 HM.

Purchase Awards were won by Pati Payne for Bartram’s and Craig Allen, Terri Barron for WesBanco Bank, Carol Terry and Claudia Bryant for Bob Clyse, Helen Sellers for The Ironton Tribune, Sharon Asher for Rambacher’s, Lottie Fraley for Citizens Deposit Bank and Carol Terry for Phillps Funeral Home.
