EARL CROWE

Earl C. Crowe, 75 of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Best Care Nursing Home in Wheelersburg. The Gravelswitch, Ky. native was born June 20, 1934, the son of the late Harvey and Della Tate Crowe. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Charmie Knowles Crowe, who passed away April 11, 2007.
Mr. Crowe attended schools in Indiana and was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was also a former grounds keeper for the San Jacinto College and a minister of the Apostolic faith. He was a wonderful father and grandfather who was loved by his family and friends. He never met a stranger and was loved by everyone who knew him. He was a dedicated husband for 50 years until she went on to be with her Lord in 2007. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Arville Crowe and William Crowe.
He is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Kathy and Randy Summers of Galion and Cecelia Taylor of Ironton; three grandchildren, Chris Lawson of Marion and  Tiffany Babb and Nicole Taylor both of Ironton; five great grandchildren, Jacob Clark of Coal Grove, Madison Lawson and Courtney Lawson, both of Galion, and Brooke Babb and Cooper Wilson, both of Ironton; and a sister, Rose Crowe Long of Indiana.
