CHESAPEAKE — Dolores Jean Russell, 79 of Chesapeake, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010, at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Ky.
She was born Oct. 23, 1930 in Boyd County, Ky., a daughter of the late William Byron and Reatha Lambert Miller.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Miller. She was a member of South Point Christian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Dale Russell; one daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Jack Finch of Chesapeake; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dale and Denise Russell of Westerville, and Doak and Rebecca Russell of Proctorville; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters, Maxine Tomlinson of Proctorville, Mary Ann Wood of Chesapeake, , and a special care giver, Dretta Green.
There will be a private family service with burial following in Rome Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions made be made to the Alzheimers Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, DC 20090-6011.
