Mary Elaine Johnson Wagner, 60 of Ironton, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Ky.
The Ashland, Ky., native was born Feb. 19, 1950. She was the daughter of Amanda Howard Mayse of Ironton and Andrew J. Burks of Flatwoods, Ky.
She was a Paul Blazer High School graduate and attended Glory Bound Church in Ashland. She was a member of Ironton Moose Club 701 and Sr. Regent at Ironton Moose 701, Chapter 1847. She was President of the Ironton Eagles Ladies Auxiliary 895.
She was preceded in death by her children, Kyle and Rosetta Wagner and a brother-in-law, Michael Ray Wagner.
She is survived by her husband Ernest Michael Wagner whom she married May 2, 1975; a sister, Nancy Sisler of Ironton; a sister and brother-in-law, Rebecca and Bill Bryan of Cincinnati; a sister and brother-in-law, Cindy and Charlie Hawkins of Greentown, Penn.; a brother, Paul Edward Vance of Denver, Colo.; a sister-in-law, Joyce Sharp of Ironton and several nieces and nephews.
