SPRINGFIELD — Willard “JR” Arbaugh, 84, of Springfield, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010, in Villa Springfield. He was born Oct. 17, 1925, in Pedro, the son of Willard and Alma (Herrel) Arbaugh Sr. Mr. Arbaugh was a member of the Union Club and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the Marine Corps. He had been employed as a brick carrier/hod carrier. Survivors include one brother, John (Frieda) Arbaugh of Springfield; one sister, Kathryn Malone of Pedro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins including Ruby Koster of Springfield. He was preceded in death by a sister, Jenny Boggs and his parents. Visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Monday in the Jones-Kenney-Zechman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with Pastor Joe McGlone officiating. Graveside services, with military honors, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Woodland Cemetery Ironton.
