COLUMBUS — Margaret Evangeline Maxey, 97 of Columbus, formerly of Coal Grove, died Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at a nursing home facility in Delaware, Ohio.
She was born on Feb. 29, 1912 in Coal Grove, Ohio the daughter of the late Sheridan and Rachel Foster Melvin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Julian Maxey; five brothers and six sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Julian Maxey and his wife, Aundrea of Columbus and Richard Maxey and his partner, Nancy Shaprio of Columbus; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be noon Saturday at Woodland Cemetery with Brother Chad Pemberton officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. at the Tracy Brammer Funeral Home.
