Ironmasters Days set for weekend of June 20

The weekend of June 20 and June 21 will mark the 16th annual Lawrence County Ironmasters Days where visitors can go back in time to the days of antique farm equipment.

There will be daily exhibits and demonstrations of engines and tractors at the Ironton Hills Plaza.

Registration starts at 8 a.m. Friday, June 20, with barrel train rides for children all day. There will be a dinner for exhibitors at 5 p.m. In the evening there will be a tractor rodeo and live music by Kelley’s Bridge Celtic and folk band.

On Saturday registration will be from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. with a tractor parade at 11 a.m. through the City of Ironton. Lunch for exhibitors will start at 12:30 p.m. and a kiddie tractor pull at 2 p.m. Trophies are sponsored by Coal Grove Temco and Old Time Machinery and Antique Association.
