Wheelersburg rolls past injury plagued Fairland

PROCTORVILLE — Quarterback Austin May led the unbeaten Wheelersburg Pirates to a 51-6 non-league win over the injury-riddled Fairland Dragons on Friday.

May was 7 of 9 passing for 136 yards and three touchdowns as Wheelersburg (4-0) racked up 388 total yards and held the Dragons to 152.

Keaton Newsome ran eight times for 84 yards and a score to lead the ground game for the Pirates.

Wheelersburg took a 28-0 first quarter lead and led 44-0 at the half.
