Patricia Plaster

June 29, 1953 — Oct. 18, 2014

Patricia Ann Plaster, 61, of South Point, passed away Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home and Chapel, Barboursville. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens.

She was born June 29, 1953 in Bluefield, West Virginia, the daughter of the late John D. Neal and Sarah Ann Dotson Neal. She was preceded in death by three husbands, James Plaster, Clay Eldred and Charles Lynn Holbrook. She is survived by one daughter, Angelica Haycook, of South Point; three sons, Jason Plaster of Ironton, Jeremy Plaster, of Baltimore, Maryland, and Jeremy Holbrook, of Culloden, West Virginia; several brothers and sisters; and eight grandchildren, Caleb Long, Wyatt Varney, Alexis Plaster, Taylor Plaster, Jason Plaster Jr., Braiden Plaster, Jayna Fisher and Ellie Fisher.

Norma McClellan

Jan. 17, 1933 — Oct. 21, 2014

Norma Ann “Sue” McClellan, 81, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2014, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. The Lawrence County native was born Jan. 17, 1933, a daughter of the late Alford and Josephine Collins Walker. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. McClellan, whom she married Feb. 15, 1953.

Sue was a graduate of Ironton High School, a homemaker and a member of the Faith United Church of the Nazarene in Ironton. She was a former cashier for Crance’s Elm Street Market and Citti’s Market.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John C. McClellan; four sisters, Edith Quinn, Helen Canada, Jean May, and Mary Johnson; and two brothers, Alford Walker, Jr. and Norm Walker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Susan Allen of Bainbridge; three grandchildren, Matthew McClellan, Cory McClellan, and Kyle McClellan, all of Greenfield; a daughter-in-law, Robin Massie, of Greenfield; and two sisters-in-law, Vivian Malloy, of Ashland, and Kay McClellan, of Ironton.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home with pastor Penny Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be from noon until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home. Jimmy Gene Dingess, 69 of Greenup, Kentucky, died on Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell, Kentucky.
