Clyde White

July 8, 1933 — March 3, 2015

Clyde E. White, 81, passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. He was born on July 8, 1933, in Waterloo, to the late Labe and Virgie Belle (Miller) White. He was married to Jeanette Stevens who preceded him in death in 2005.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Celces White; and four sisters, Mary Coffman, Thelma Coffman, Ruby Burd and Bessie Brammer. He is survived by his children, Charles White, Debbie (Darrel) Kisner and Mark (Tammy) White, all of Marion, and Nancy (Bill) Abrams of Columbus; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Buelah Lacy and Joann Turvey, both of Ironton, and Ruth Malone of Kentucky.

The Hughes-Allen Funeral Home has assisted his family with the arrangements.

 

 

James Oiler

James Dale Oiler, 74, of Huntington, West Virginia, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Cornerstone Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife Diana Aiken Oiler. There will be no services. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville is assisting the family with arrangements.

 

 

Gregory Lambert

Gregory Allen Lambert, 32, of Chesapeake, died Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Funeral service will be conducted by Jerry Galloway at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller. Betty Lee Filbin, 92, of Hamilton, Indiana, formerly of Ironton, died Tuesday, March 3, 2015, in Lakeland Nursing Home, Angola, Indiana. Arrangements are pending at the Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home.

Lawrence “Tony” Hunt, 74, of Ashville, formerly of Ironton, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 2015, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Funeral Home with ministers Mike Grose and Jason Ridgeway officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Chapel Cemetery and visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
