COLUMBUS (AP) — Ohio State University says Archie Griffin, the only two-time winner of the Heisman Trophy, is stepping down as head of the university’s alumni relations office.

Griffin, president and CEO of the Ohio State Alumni Association and senior vice president for alumni relations, is becoming a senior adviser within the university’s Office of Advancement.

The 60-year-old Griffin says the move allows him to work for the university part-time while spending more time with his family. He led the alumni group since 2004, following 20 years in the school’s athletic department.
