SOUTH POINT — They are the Three Musketeers of Offense for the South Point Lady Pointers.

Brooklyn Badgett, Haley Rawlins and Kate Mundy combined for 53 points as the Lady Pointers beat the Gallipolis Blue Angels 61-50 on Thursday in an Ohio Valley Conference game.

Badgett scored 22 points, Rawlins 16 and Mundy 15 as the Lady Pointers improved to 3-3 and 3-2 in the league.

Adrienne Jenkins scored 20 points for Gallipolis (1-5, 1-4).

Badgett and Rawlins combined for 10 points as South Point took a 16-15 first quarter lead. Shriver scored 7 points for Gallipolis.

Both teams scored 10 points in the second quarter and it was 26-25 at the half. Jenkins and Jordan Walker hit 3-pointers for the Blue Angels.

Badgett knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and scored 8 points in the third quarter as South Point extended its lead to 43-37.

The Lady Pointers continued to pull away in the fourth quarter as Rawlins hit a 3-pointer and scored 7 points and Badgett scored 5 points.

Gallipolis got 5 points from Jenkins and converted 5-of-9 free throws.

The Lady Pointers play in the South Point Shootout on Saturday.
