SOUTH POINT — Several projects are scheduled for South Point in the New Year, according to village administrator Russ McDonald.

Right-of-way, ditch, roadway and storm drain projects are slated for January for Solida Road, Fourth Street and County Road 1, McDonald said.

Improvements to the sewer plant, including remodeling work on a trickling tower is set for January or February, he said.

McDonald said he anticipates no other major projects for the start of the year, other than snow removal, which hasn’t been an issue so far this season.
