An opening reception for a new paper-themed art exhibition is set for Thursday at Ohio University Southern.

“Paperworks,” which runs from Jan. 14-Feb. 11 in the school’s gallery, features the works of six regional artists, gallery director Dennis Stewart said.

The show will feature sculptured paper, hand-made paper, ink on paper and pigment on paper and collage works from artists Jeff Kallett of Athens, Ann Silverman, of Columbus, Katherine Cox, of Lawrence County, Sassa Wilkes, of Huntington, Daisie Hoitima, of Athens and Nicole Gibbs, of Columbus.

The reception is set for 5 to 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
