Breaking and entering — 300 block State Route 790, Scottown, May 12, power tools taken from building.

Information — 4600 block County Road 64, Willow Wood, May 12, Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers serving arrest warrant allegedly found what appeared to be about 100 small marijuana plants growing in a truck bed liner; detectives from sheriff’s office called to collect the evidence.

Breaking and entering, petty theft — 22000 State Route 775, Scottown, May 12, chainsaw taken from garage.

Resisting arrest, possession of drug abuse instruments, possession of criminal tools — A private drive in Scottown, May 12, deputies serving subpoena at residence came into contact with the suspects of an alleged breaking and entering; male suspect fled on foot; female suspect detained and was allegedly in possession of bolt cutters and syringes; female allegedly resisted being arrested; Melissa D. Jones-Legrande, 39, of 54 Private Drive 1006, Ironton, arrested.

Petty theft — Wal-Mart, South Point, May 12, man allegedly stole items from store; Dakota M. Saul, 21 of 411 Fifth Ave., Huntington, arrested.

Petty theft, criminal trespass — Wal-Mart, South Point, May 12, woman allegedly concealed items in her purse; was previously banned from store; Sara E. Bartley, 34, of 16 Lake Drive, Barboursville, arrested.

Cruelty to animals, horses roaming — A private drive off Township Road 130 N., Chesapeake, detectives investigating allegations of horses not being fed properly and roaming other properties.
