PEDRO — He’s baaack.

The Rock Hill Board of Education re-hired Todd Knipp as the head football coach by a 4-1 vote during a special meeting on Monday.

Knipp originally was not renewed at an April board of education meeting.

Knipp has been the head coach at Rock Hill for the past 11 seasons. The Redmen were 6-3 during the regular season last year and qualified for the Division V postseason playoffs.

During his tenure, the Redmen have won one Ohio Valley Conference title and earned three playoff berths.

The Redmen will return seven starters on offense and defense.
