SOUTH POINT — South Point Police are set to host a concealed carry weapon class on Saturday.

The class, required by Ohio law for a permit, will take place at the police station, starting at 9 a.m. and will run for eight hours, with a break for lunch.

The cost is $60 and participants are asked to bring 100 rounds of ammunition for their gun. If they do not have a gun, the department will have some available, though ammunition must still be brought by attendees.

Participants are asked to leave the guns and ammunition in the car upon arrival and not bring it in to the station.
