BIDWELL — Jonathan Henline must have a thing for the number 4.
Bating in the No. 4 position of the lineup, Henline went 4-for-4 with four runs batted as the South Point Pointers beat the River Valley Raiders 10-3 on Saturday.
Henline also picked up the pitching win as he worked — you guessed it — four innings and allowed four hits, but he struck out nine and walked just one.
Travis Dillon was 1-3 and he also had four RBI for the Pointers. Brody Blackwell was a 2-5 and Logan Wade 3-5.
South Point (8-4) scored four runs in the first inning.
With one out, Blackwell, Wade and Henline alls singled for a run. Dillon was hit by a pitch and then Douglas Shaffer and Logan Rose singled and Drake McClure hit into a force play that scored a run.
Wade singled, stole second and Henline had an RBI single in the second and it was 5-0.
Henline had a two-run single in the fourth and the Pointers added three runs in the sixth when Blackwell reached on an error and Wade, Henline and Dillon all singled.
South Point is at Chesapeake on Monday.
