Escape — Lawrence County Municipal Court Friday, woman reportedly slipped out of handcuffs and attempted to flee following imposition of jail sentence, located under vehicle in parking lot. Toni Burns, 25, Rootstown, charged with escape and taken to the Lawrence County Jail.

Domestic — Perry Township Sunday, man reportedly assaulted, suspect named.

Domestic — Upper Township Sunday, man reportedly assaulted, elbowed, shoved to ground, Carl W. Jenkins Jr., 18, 31 Private Drive 523, Ironton, arrested and taken to jail.

Assault — Country Hearth Motel, South Point, man reportedly belligerent, threatening people, refusing to refrain from sleeping in motel lobby, reportedly admitted recent drug use, Robert D. Burrell, 56, Huntington, W.Va., arrested and taken to jail.

Theft— State Route 243, South Point Monday, gun reportedly taken from vehicle.
