Bertha Sark

Bertha Imogene (Tos) Sark, 80, of Ironton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at King’s Daughters Medical Center, Ashland, Kentucky. Bertha was born Feb. 8, 1938, in Naples, Kentucky, daughter of the late Robert and Opal McCarty Huff.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Marion Clinton Sark; three sisters, Anita Caudill, Betty Joseph and Dora Huff; and two brothers, Bill Huff and Ralph Huff.
Bertha loved to garden, can, cook and spend time with her family.
She is survived by her son, Tim (Erma) Sark, of Ironton; three sisters, Bernice (Jeff) Matney, of Kitts Hill, Verna Lou (Carl) Morman, of Ironton, and Donna Sue (Perry) Lawson, of South Point; two brothers, Clarence Huff, of Ironton, and Fred (Diane) Huff, of South Point; three grandchildren, Joe (Casey) Sark, of Ironton, Lisa (Mark) Harmon, of Ironton, and Cathy (Jamey) Kerns, of Pedro; two great-grandchildren, Nathan Harmon, of Ironton, and Haley (Brad) Lemaster, of Coal Grove; and a special friend and neighbor, Rick Dillon, of Ironton.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Slack and Wallace Funeral Home, South Point. Friends may visit two hours prior to the service. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens, South Point. Condolences to the family may be expressed at www.slackandwallace.com.
