Jeannine White

March 18, 1931 — Nov. 14, 2018

Jeannine Feuchter White, of Ironton, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, early in the morning on Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2018, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Born in Ironton on March 18, 1931, the only child of Frank and Mary Barrett Feuchter, her life is celebrated by her husband of 67 years, soul mate and true love of 73 years, Carl White; her daughter and son-in-law, Faith White Sutherland and Clint Sutherland, of Abingdon, Virginia; and her granddaughter, Alexandria Sutherland, of Knoxville, Tennessee.
Carl’s large family was extremely loved by Jeannine, and they loved her in return. Jeannine attended Ironton High School and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ironton. During the late 1970s through the mid 1980s, Jeannine was the president of the Southeastern Ohio Area Women’s Aglow, where she went all over the region, speaking at local chapters about Jesus and His love. She enjoyed flea markets and the beautiful things in life.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday at First United Methodist Church, Ironton, with the Rev. Steve Harvey and the Rev. Don Woolum officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery, and visitation will be 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the church. Phyllis Cannon

Feb. 7, 1936 — Nov. 13, 2018

Phyllis E. Cannon, 82, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2018, at her residence. Mrs. Cannon was born Feb. 7, 1936, in Kanawha County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Carl Lee and Opal Ray (Williams) Propps. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Dallas Cannon, who passed away Feb. 11, 1997.
Mrs. Cannon was a homemaker, who enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the Eastern Star and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Eugene and Kenneth Smith; sister, Lena Reese; brother, Donald Reese; and two nephews, Butch Elswick and Carl Reese.
She is survived by a daughter, Sherry (George) Blevins, of Ironton; son, Jeffery (Richonda) Smith, of Argillite, Kentucky; sister-in-law, Mary Reese, of Chesapeake, West Virginia; 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, Ironton, with Brother Tony Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Donald Holbrook
