Stephanie Eaker & David Riley

Stephanie, 47, and her father, David, 79, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, as a result of a traffic accident.
Survivors include Stephanie’s husband, Jeff; her children, Riley and Olivia; her father and mother-in-law, Robert and Carlene Eaker; David’s sister, Sue (Gary) Pelfrey; David’s special friends, Hildas Mayse; and several nieces, nephews, in-laws and many special friends.
They were preceded in death by David’s son, David “Davie” Riley; David’s parents, Curtis and Evelyn Riley; and Stephanie’s mother, Anne Riley.
David was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Ford Motor Company after 40-plus years of service. Stephanie was a legal secretary in the Jackson, Michigan area and a member of the Lumen Christi Tight End Club. Their family was the most important thing in their lives.
Graveside services for David will be 1 p.m. Monday at Pine Grove Cemetery, Ironton, with the Rev. Gary Arthurs officiating.

 

Vicki Meadows

June 9, 1965 — Dec. 27, 2018

Vicki Meadows, 53, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, Dec. 27, 2018, at her residence. Vicki was born June 9, 1965, in Lawrence County, a daughter to Linda Arbaugh Meadows and the late Jerry Meadows.
Vicki was a 1985 graduate of North High School and was a former assembly person for TAC Industries.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, William and Virginia (Crawford) Arbaugh; and paternal grandparents, Stanley amd Stella (Clarkson) Meadows.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by three uncles, Billy (Debbie) Arbaugh, of Jackson, David (Pat) Arbaugh, of Waterloo, and James (Tonnia) Meadows, of Pedro; three aunts, Paula (Jeff) Miller, of Patriot, Myrtle (Sammy) Mitchell, of Waterloo, and Flo (Don) Smith, of Cambridge; and her favorite pet, Otis.
Funeral service will be noon Monday at Phillips Funeral Home, Ironton, with Chaplain Fred Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Flagsprings Cemetery, Waterloo. Nancy Berry

Oct. 4, 1949 — Dec. 25, 2018

Nancy Mae Berry, 69, of Ironton, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2018. Nancy was born Oct. 4, 1949, in Mansfield to Jerry F. and Margaret (Friend) Carroll.
She graduated from Madison High School and loved spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and going to casinos, and especially loved her dog, Pickles.
She is survived by her son, Larry Berry Jr.; mother, Margaret Carroll; four sisters, Wanda (Dennis) Boyce, Wanita (Ronald) Lambert, Sandra (Greg) Munholland and Sherry (Dave) Gushard; six grandchildren, Logan Berry, Derik Berry, Alex Berry, Cynthia (Mike) Sisler and Brooklin (Justin) Kelley; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Carroll; husband, Larry Berry Sr.; and son, Jerry Berry.

James Falter

Jan. 5, 1933 — Dec. 20, 2018

James W. Falter, of Beavercreek, died on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018, at the age of 85. He was born to Charles W. and Addie McKee Falter on Jan. 5, 1933, in Deaconess Hospital in Ironton. He graduated from Ironton High School in 1951.
A memorial service celebrating Jim’s life will be noon Saturday, Jan. 5, 2019, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Oakwood.
