Linda Aldridge

Linda Aldridge, 70, of Coal Grove, gained her wings to heaven on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, leaving from King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
The Ironton native was born April 4, 1948, a daughter of the late Mary Louise DeFour and the late James Aldridge. Linda was a graduate of Dawson-Bryant High School, a former baker and attended Sharon Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Aldridge; and his father, Darryl Maynard; and a grandchild, Shelby Aldridge.
She is survived by her son, Donald Large; his father, Donald Large Sr.; a brother, Jimmy Aldridge; a niece, Cheyenne Aldridge; a granddaughter, Shelby; and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Christian Baptist Church and Brown Funeral Chapel, Ironton. Burial will follow in Junior Furnace Cemetery.
