Breast cancer support group set for Sept. 17

ASHLAND, Ky. – Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with breast cancer? The King’s Daughters Breast Cancer Support Group provides both educational and emotional support for current patients, survivors and family/support persons.
The group allows those affected by breast cancer to discuss similar experiences and the different range of emotions that often accompany a diagnosis, including depression, anxiety and fear.
The next support group meeting will be held from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the King’s Daughters Oncology Center of Excellence, fifth floor conference room, Medical Plaza A, 617 23rd St., Ashland, Kentucky.
This month’s topic is Diet and Nutrition: Making Healthy Choices After Breast Cancer and the featured speaker is Casey Riley, clinical dietitian.
