Donna Humphreys

July 7, 1925 – Sept. 20, 2019

Donna Humphreys, 94, of Ironton, passed away peacefully, Friday, Sept. 20, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Humphreys was born July 7, 1925 in Kitts Hill, a daughter to the late Henry William and Ada (Kelley) Fliehman

Mrs. Humphreys was a 1941 graduate of Kitts Hill High School and retired in 1980, after 37 years as a cashier for A&P supermarket. She was a former member of the DMA (Don’t Mention Age) Club at Calvary Baptist Church and the Volunteer Ladies Auxiliary at Lawrence County General Hospital. She attended several churches in the community and was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers; Delphin, Earl, Harry and Fred Fliehman; and two sisters, Henrietta Fulks and Rosemary Nance.

She is survived by a daughter, Lutherna (Michael) Humphreys Pointer, of Bandera, Texas; a special niece, Barbi Zornes; her loving caregiver, Tracey Hampton and her beloved pet Taffy. Also, a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. 7th St., Ironton, with Rev. Roy Roach officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery and visitation will be Wednesday from noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Daniel Price Jr.

Jan. 24, 1943 – Sept. 21, 2019

Daniel J. Price Jr., 76, of Ironton, passed away on Sept. 21, 2019 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky. He was born Jan. 24, 1943 in Maryland, a son to the late Daniel Price, Sr. and Leona (Douglas) Price. Daniel was survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Gilmore) Price, whom he married on Jan. 29, 2003.

Mr. Price was a United States Marine veteran and a graduate of Wurtland High School in Wurtland, Kentucky. Daniel worked at CSX as a welder and retired from CSX in 2005.

In addition to his wife, Daniel is survived by two sons, Daniel Price II and David Price, both of Ashland, Kentucky.

Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. 7th Street, Ironton, is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Lee Mullins

Lee Ivan Mullins, 85, of Ironton, died Friday, Sept. 20, 2019 at Sanctuary of the Ohio Valley. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Violet (Mooney) Mullins.

There will be a memorial service held at a later date at the convenience of the family.

Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 S. Seventh St., Ironton, is assisting the family with arrangements.

Deborah Ferguson

Deborah Ann Ferguson, 57, of Proctorville, passed away Saturday Sept. 21, 2019 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, West Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, John W. Ferguson.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville by Pastor Gordon Simpson. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
