A special meeting of the Rock Hill Board of Education, which was originally set for Sept. 30, has been moved to 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28.

Officials said this was due to a scheduling conflict.

The meeting will take place at the board offices and members will consider the following items: Discuss and possibly act on the appointment, employment, promotion, demotion, dismissal, discipline or compensation of an employee.

They will all consider and possibly appoint a member to the vacant seat on the Rock Hill Local School District Board of Education following the death of Keith Roth last month, as well as any other business that may be considered necessary to transact by the board.
