WILLOW WOOD — Jack Leith and Logan Walsh got most of their work done at the same time.
Leith and Walsh combined for 21 points in the third quarter as the Symmes Valley Vikings erased a halftime deficit and beat the Rock Hill Redmen 63-48 on Saturday.
Owen Hankins hit a pair of 3-pointers and Nick Blankenship had 4 points as Rock Hill took a 15-10 first quarter lead. Leith had 6 points for the Vikings.
Luke Leith and Jack Leith had 3 points each in the second quarter as Symmes Valley cut the deficit to 24-20 at the half.
Garrett Miller made a 3-pointer and scored 5 points as the Redmen held onto the lead.
But Jack Leith and Walsh took over in the third quarter as they scored 21 of 28 points as the Vikings rallied to take a 48-38 lead.
Jack Leith scored 11 points including 3-of-4 at the line while Walsh hit a pair of 3-pointers as he scored 10 points.
Hankins had 6 points and Miller hit a 3-pointer and scored 5 more points in the quarter for Rock Hill.
Luke Leith had 5 points and Drew Scherer scored 4 points in the fourth quarter as the Vikings continued to pull away.
Jack Leith finished the game with 24 points, 14 rebounds, 2 steals and a blocked shot as the Vikings improved to 13-5.
Luke Leith had 11 points and 7 rebounds, Scherer got 10 points and 9 rebounds, Walsh had 10 points and 3 steals while Toby Smathers grabbed 6 rebounds.
Hankins scored 14 points and Miller 12 to pace the Redmen (3-16).
UP NEXT: Symmes Valley goes to South Point and Rock Hill host St. Joseph on Tuesday.
