Sharon Bryant

Oct. 16, 1941– March 11, 2020

 

Sharon Kay Bryant, 78, of Franklin Furnace, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at her home.

The Peru, Indiana, native was born Oct. 16, 1941, the daughter of the late Parker and Wilma Hulce. She married her husband, Robert Bryant, in June 1985.

Sharon was a loving housewife. She was a previous member of Riverview Homespun Homemakers and Homespun Homemakers. She enjoyed painting, needlework and coloring. She was of the Christian faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Don Hulce; and a daughter, Tina Hart.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two soswns, Chris (Caroline) Hodson, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Erick (Beth) Hodson, of Haverhill; a daughter, Shannon Abdon; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 S. Sixth St., Ironton, with the Pastor Jack McCleese officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Community Hospice Care Center, 2330 Pollard Road, Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
