— Due to COVID-19 virus, effective immediately, all residential trash pick-up in Coal Grove must be in a bag and inside of a can before they will take it. This policy was put in place by Elkins Waste Services, not the village. They will not take anything laying on the ground or outside of a can, including a trash bag sitting on the ground, mattresses or furniture.

— The Ironton Lions Club will be holding a spring or summer yard sale, date to be determined, and is looking for donations. Anyone who has gently used toys, tools, furniture, applications and crafts. They will not accept TVs, tires, batteries or paint. Call 740-479-8215 to schedule a pick up. All proceeds go to back into the community and Lions charities.

— Ohio’s annual church bus and motor coach inspection/registrations expire on May 31. Any southern Ohio churches or motor coach companies in need of annual bus inspections can call the Ohio State Highway Patrol at 740-286-3457 to schedule an inspection.

— Symmes Township’s 2019 financial report is complete and is available for viewing by contacting the fiscal officer.

— Washington Township’s 2019 financial report is complete and is available for viewing by contacting fiscal officer, Katie Lewis.

— The Windsor Township Trustees will meet at 7 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month at the Windsor Township Hall.
