KITTS HILL — Adam Chaise Kuehne went to be with his Lord on Feb. 17, 2011. He was born Oct. 11, 1992, in Huntington, W.Va. He was the son of Thomas Kuehne of Ironton and Karen and Jerry Bailey of Kitts Hill.

Adam was a senior at Rock Hill High School, where he participated in the Spanish and science clubs. He was accepted into Shawnee State University. He faithfully attended Storms Creek Missionary Baptist Church all his life.

Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Catherine (Kitty) Kuehne, maternal grandparents. William O. and Mae McDonie, as well as an Uncle William J. (Billy Joe) McDonie.

Aside from his parents, Adam is survived by his paternal grandfather Jerrold Kuehne of Ironton, two brothers, John and Stephen Kuehne of Kitts Hill, one stepbrother, Jeremy Bailey of Ironton, and his beloved girlfriend, Ruby Garrett of Pedro. He is also survived by several special uncles, aunts and cousins.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday at the Storms Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Ironton with Associate Pastor Jeremy Shamblin officiating. Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Sunday at Phillips Funeral Home, and the body will lie in state one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
