Dova Wilson

COLUMBUS — Dova G. Wilson, 62, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011, at the Whetstone Care Center in Columbus. The Lawrence County native was born Sept. 14, 1948, the daughter of the late Justine Brumfield.

Mrs. Wilson was a 1967 graduate of Ironton High School, a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. She lived most of her life in Ironton and the past two months she was living in Columbus.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ray Wilson; and a brother, James Basenbach.

She is survived by her companion for the past 25 years, James Siders; son, Ron Franklin Harrison of Harrison, Pa.; son: Ron Eugene Christian of Ironton son: Justin Albert Wilson of Columbus; son, Robert Allen Christian of South Dakota; stepson, Dustin James Siders of Columbus; stepson, Shawn Daniel Siders of Columbus; stepson, Stephen Bradley Siders of Columbus; eight grandchildren, Dova Rose Christian, Brittany Mickalls, Crystal Mickalls, Ashley Wilson, Jennifer Harrison, Bradley Harrison, Mary Rae Harrison and Landyn Bradley Siders; seven great-grandchildren, Aaron Mickalls, Summer Mickalls, Samantha Sammons, Louann Mickalls, Jacob Mickalls, Shania Mickalls and Nicholus Harrison; and good friend, Joyce Sharp.
