tickets on sale
Ironton Fighting Tigers’ season football tickets are now on sale.
Tickets for five home games are $37. Checks should be made payable to the I.H.S. Athletic Department.
Fans should include a self-addressed stamped envelope and mail ticket orders to:

Tickets will be mailed no later than Sept. 3. If fans do not receive their tickets by that date, contact the athletic department.
IMS volleyball sets
meeting, practice
Any girls in grades 7-8 planning to play volleyball at the Ironton Middle School are asked to meet from 6-to-6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the middle school gym. Practice is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 9.

Rock Hill High School varsity football season tickets will go on sale Monday.

Season tickets are $30 for five home games. The Redmen have an entertaining home schedule that includes:
Aug. 27 Zane Trace; Sept. 3 Lucasville Valley; Sept. 10 Oak Hill; Oct. 1 Chesapeake; and Oct. 29 Fairland.

Tiger Moms plan
meeting Aug. 3
All mothers of Ironton High School football players are invited to attend the Tiger Moms meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Ironton City Center.
New prep football
referee class offered
A class is being formed for anyone interested in becoming an Ohio high school football official.
Due to a conflict in scheduling, Ironton chapter instruction Jimmy Mahlmeister is unable to conduct the class. Instead, persons should contact Hank Craft at (740) 352-7500 or hank648@gmail.com
The class will be conducted in the Portsmouth area.
Registration deadline is Sunday, Aug. 15.

football conditioning
Rock Hill Middle School football conditioning will be from 5-7 p.m. Aug. 2-6 at the field.

K of C golf scramble
scheduled Saturday
The Knights of Columbus will conduct a golf scramble Saturday at The Oaks Golf Course.
An 8:30 a.m. shotgun start will be used. Prizes will be given and food and drinks will be provided.

St. Joseph annual
golf scramble set
The St. Joseph High School 4-man benefit golf scramble will be held Saturday, Aug. 7, at Diamond Links with a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Lunch will be provided and cash prizes award. Entry fee is $50 each person. All proceeds benefit the Catholic schools.

Rio hosting benefit
golf scramble July 31
RIO GRANDE — The University of Rio Grande men’s and women’s basketball programs will be hosting a golf scramble on Saturday, July 31 at Franklin Valley Golf Course in Jackson, Ohio. The four-person scramble will begin with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.
The cost of the four-person scramble is $40 per person for 300 Club members and $60 per person for those who are not 300 Club members.

“A” Flight will have cash prizes for 1st and 2nd place while “B” Flight will have gifts awarded for 1st and 2nd place.
